A menu is wrong or out of date

You can fix it from inside the app: open the restaurant, tap the menu page and choose the correction option, or photograph the current menu with the built-in scanner and send it in. Every submission is checked by us before it goes live. You can also just email us the restaurant name and what is wrong.

A restaurant is missing

Open the ADD tab in the app, find the venue, and attach a photo of its menu. New restaurants appear once we have reviewed the submission.

Report content, or ask for something to be removed

If a photo, video or menu entry is offensive, infringing, or should not be there, email legal@dishdraw.de with a link or the restaurant and dish name. We remove content that breaks our terms and we act on reports promptly.

Restaurant owners: if you want your listing corrected, claimed or taken down, email legal@dishdraw.de from an address at your restaurant's domain where possible, or use the form on the For restaurants page.

I run a restaurant on DishDraw

Everything you can do — the menu, tables and QR cards, the tablet on the pass, staff phones and reservations — is described in the getting-started guide (English and German). You manage your restaurant at owner.dishdraw.de; there is no password, just a code sent to your email.

The app cannot find restaurants near me

• DishDraw needs location permission to sort restaurants by distance. You can grant it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → DishDraw.
• Menus are being added city by city, starting with Berlin. If you are outside a covered city, switch the list from NEAR ME to ALL, or pick a city, to browse what exists today.
• The app needs a network connection — menus are not stored on the device.

Accounts and data

You can browse restaurants, order and contribute without an account. There are accounts for three things only: DishDraw Jobs (people looking for work sign in with their email address), recruiter accounts for staffing companies on jobs.dishdraw.de, and the owner portal for restaurants. What we process, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.

How to delete your account

• Job account (app) or recruiter account: email legal@dishdraw.de from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. Your full name, phone number, CV link, profile text and free days are removed straight away; the account and its requests and applications are gone 30 days later. Signing in again within those 30 days restores the account.
• Anything else — data associated with your device, a reservation or an order: email the same address and say you are making a data request.

Languages

The app is available in English, German and Turkish. Menu text can be shown in further languages; where a translation is machine-generated the app marks it as such.
